We are still open.
Following the latest government advice it has been necessary to review our position regarding coronavirus and the need to avoid unnecessary social contact.
Whilst we intend to keep the Reserve open if at all possible, it will now be necessary for all bird hides to remain closed.
This is due to the advice on communal enclosed spaces and potential transfer of germs on surfaces.
We advise all visitors to BRING HAND SANITISER and use it after contact with any surfaces that may also have been touched by other visitors.
We are aiming to keep our visitors and volunteers as safe as possible during theses difficult times.
Toilet facilities remain available for use but it is possible that you may find them locked at times. They can be opened on request to the duty volunteer in or around the Visitor Centre which remains closed to visitors.
We will continue to review the situation as required. Thank you for all your support – keep checking the website and facebook pages for further announcements.
